My name is Linda and I founded LKG Daughters Plumbing & Heating Ltd 21 years ago. I am a fully qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer who has been Gas Safe (previously Corgi registered) for 20 years!
Running a company requires many skills, hence some of my other qualifications including Building Construction Management gained from Anglia University and business and law qualifications.
I am proud to be the first female corgi engineer (now gas safe) in the world.
I work long hours however in my occasional down time I enjoy my garden, my many dogs and flying off to anywhere hot!

I have been working with LKG for a number of years, having been poached from the building trade by Linda! My daily tasks include fabrication and coring for flues, reinstatement of brickwork around old flue areas, radiator work, vertical flue installations and general building repairs.
When not working for the general public as a member of the team, I have designated duties to maintain the grounds around the office and maintain all company equipment and stock.

I’ve been working for my family business for the last 9 years as a plumber and gas safe engineer. I attended Colchester institute in 2010 where I completed my formal plumbing qualifications, unvented and Gas Safe. I was the only girl on my course but never let that hold me back and graduated at the top of my class. I absolutely love my job, every day is a new challenge and I enjoy giving my customers the service they deserve.
When I’m not busy repairing boilers and fitting taps I enjoy walking my Labrador retriever and have a keen interest in organic gardening.
Tom Buddin
Plumber – Gas Safe Trainee
Tom has been working in the construction industry for over 7 years, with 4 years in the plumbing and heating industry, now is starting his final year in college to complete his gas qualification. With a deep-rooted love for fixing things and a natural curiosity for how things work makes plumbing the perfect job!
When Toms not in a loft or airing cupboard, he has a love for travelling and trying new foods as well as anything high adrenaline fuelled.
April Cowley
Plumber – Gas Safe Trainee
I’m April, a skilled plumber with four years of experience under my belt. I strive to be a reliable and trustworthy choice for all your plumbing requirements.
Before embarking on my plumbing journey, I explored the world as a teacher. From China to Switzerland and the UK, I immersed myself in diverse cultures, sharing my knowledge and worked with amazing people. However, it was my innate knack for problem-solving and hands-on work that ultimately led me to discover my true calling in the plumbing industry.
When I’m not busy under sinks or in lofts, I love to be in the great outdoors, on the golf course or on an adventure.

We were founded by the first Corgi Registered female plumber and heating engineer in the UK, which is now Gas Safe registered. We also now have the youngest female Gas Safe registered plumber in the UK. So not only do we bring you personal and professional work that we’re proud of, we’re also helping to prove that exceptional plumbing is a result of skill and a drive for perfection.
We can do inexpensive and still make it beautiful, and we never just suffice with ‘okay’. We always aim high.
